Catherine Tresa was born and brought up in Dubai. Her mother tongue is Malayalam. Up to 12th standard she studied in Dubai, later she moved to Bangalore for higher education. She appeared in many commercials before her film debut. In 2010 she made her film debut in Kannada. In the same year she got a chance to work in her mother tongue Malayalam. Later she signed for 2 Kannada films. In 2013 she made her debut in Telugu in the movie chamak challo which was directed Neela kanta. Her acting ability was recognized with that movie and got a chance to pair with Allu Arjun and Nani in upcoming projects.
